SH Film Openings: Teen Drama

Juno (2007, Reitman)
  • This opening sequence establishes the main character, a teenager, and shows her walking through a cartoon street.
  • This implies that she is still young, as she sees her life as a cartoon and is not ready to become pregnant, which is the situation the film focuses on.

    I like this opening as it represents real life events which I feel would be a crutial topic if we were to do a teen drama.

    I agree Alex, good thoughts. However we need something that is appealing to teenagers demands at this current time.
